This is the week that the people Scott interviewed with told him he would hear something about a position. It seems so odd to me that I am not freaking out more. It is definately on my mind, but I am totally not freaking out nor am I an emotional mess over it. It seems strange, in fact I have wondered if I should be freaking out! I talked to a friend about it and was reassured that God's grace is such a wonderful thing to experience.
On the days leading to Scott's interview I found myself on my face praying. Something I had never done before. I pray....often, but I have never been brought to my knees, on my face before God, pleading for his grace and provision. As I finished submitting my requests to God and thanking Him for His wonderful mercies shown to myself and my family I was in tears, but I have never felt more peace.
I don't know why, but that experience was so humbling, and it toally restored my faith once again, that God is in control of our life, and that thru this trial we have grown. We are being refined, and I am thankful.
It is so easy to be thankful for all of the great things God has done in our lives, but it is something else to realize just how thankful I am for the trials. As we have gone thru this trial I am trying to be aware of the way God has grown us.

I have been focusing my primary attention on my family. I am blessed by each member of my family several times each day! Sometimes, it is a smile, sometimes it is a BRIEF temper tantrum....either way, I am choosing to focus on the people I love, and to choose JOY when doing so!
Thank you for sharing - your posts bring me joy and remind me to find joy in all the blessings big and small that God sends our way. I did our budget tonight and was delighted to see how God supplies for all our needs and even some wants!!!
